The definition of a stretched canvas print
A stretched canvas print is a painting or a photo printed onto canvas material that is stretched across wooden stretcher bars. These prints are ready to frame or hang on your wall.
There are basically two choices when it comes to framing a stretched canvas: A traditional picture frame and a floater, or box frame (see the image at the top of this page). As the name suggests, traditional frames are more classic in appearance, while a floater frame gives the canvas a modern look. Unframed canvases, however, perfectly fit in to the latest decor trends.
