Do canvases require a frame?
Canvas prints are ready to hang on your wall and do not require a frame. Black or white or unfinished pine wood frames, however, are available. See below for details and pricing.
Are the canvases signed by the artist?
The canvas is signed with the artist's name written in Ojibwe syllabics. The late Miskwaabik Animikii (Norval Morrisseau), a world-renown Canadian Ojibwe painter, was the first to sign his canvases with his traditional name "Yellow Copper Thunderbird" written in Ojibwe syllabics. This writing system is now widely used by Ojibwe-Anishinaabe speakers, mainly in northern Ontario and Manitoba.
